Then there were three

Today was great... 

Matt and I slept in. 

Kim called Matt and asked him if we would like to join him for a hike. 

"WE'D LOVE TO!" 

is what matt said.

So we {Matt, Oden and myself} met Kim at the bottom of Taylor canyon to make the hike up to Malan's Peak. 

HOLY COW!!

we have done this hike before, but oh man this year it kicked our BUTT!!

let me rephrase that.... 

KIM kicked our BUTTS!

Matt and I were dying. 

towards the end, so was Oden.

after we turned around to head back down the mountain, Matt and I both decided that we needed to do that hike more often.. it was a blast and so beautiful, plus we felt ashamed that it kicked our butts so bad. we NEED to conquer the mountain!!

These are not very good pictures, my camera wasn't charged so these are camera phone photos.

After the hike we went to my parents house for a BBQ to celebrate fathers day. 

I wasn't feeling well, because i was an idiot and decided that i didn't want to drink water after our hike,

which made myself dehydrated. :(

So when i got to my parents i had to lay down for a while until the nausea and headache went away. 

anyway...

This is my dad... 

My dad is a great guy and he is constantly trying every day to be a better person. 

He's come far, and has accomplished a lot since I was little.

I admire him for that.

on another note:

while at the BBQ Matt and my little sister Sami decided that they wanted to show off and had a contest to see who could keep their hand in a bucket of ice water the longest.

guess who won?!

matt's a whimp and made up an excuse to pull his hand out of the bucket.

I also left the BBQ with a beautiful bouquet of Peonies from my parents garden!
