Then there were three

this weekend was great!

it all started on thursday with 

EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY 

at the Twilight Concert

they were fantastic!! 

after the concert it was about 10:30ish 

corey had this great idea to hike to the top of Ensign Peak to look over all of Salt Lake City. 

i have never hiked in the dark before, and never by moonlight!

it was beautiful!!

once we finished our hike {me and corey were in flip flops by the way} and we made it to the top the view was breath taking!

you could see EVERYTHING.

and the moon was so bright! it was about 99% full!

matt took me to bingham cyclery so that i could buy myself some new tubes and tires for my bike. 

i left there spending a lot more money than i had planned, and i felt sick to my stomach. 

so we went to another store to see if maybe we could find some tires with a little nicer price.

i did! 

being too embarrassed to take back the expensive tires that i bought from before i held onto them until the next day and then went back and returned them, but still held onto the tubes.

on saturday we spent some time working on our bikes because we wanted to go on a bike ride.. so im working on mine and matt is working on his... well as im cleaning up and putting things away.. i take my bike out front and then leave to go get matts bike to also bring his out front.. i almost got the the front door with matts bike..... and what do i hear...... 

 BOOM! 

matt started blowing my front tire up a little bit more with the air compressor and made my tube explode! i was so sad and upset.... i wanted to cry... because this meant that i would have to go buy a new tube and i wouldn't be able to go on a bike ride that day. Fortunately the tube that was in the old tire that was previously on the bike seemed good. So we replaced the new busted tube with the old tube and we were good to go...... well the next morning i had a flat tire..... so yet again, i have to go buy a new tube.

this weekend we also managed to stop by the farmers market on 25th street.

i didn't take a lot of pictures... 

but it was great! 

it seemed like there were tons of people there and all the food smelled fantastic!

we saw a little stand that was selling Limeades, and we couldn't resist.

they were the BEST limeades ever!
