But this last time was something I will never forget.
The night before our Saturday activity, Matt kept talking about how bad he wanted to go hike up around Jenny lake.. He was talking about it so much, it was starting to get annoying to the family. In my head I thought "I wonder if that's where he's going to propose" then immediately after that thought, another one popped in my head and said "no....because on Monday we have an appointment with a jeweler to look at rings" so I just let Matt talk about Jenny Lake, thinking that he's just really excited to go hiking.
Well Saturday the 26th comes along and were up there getting on our packs to start the hike.
Before you get to the trail head there is a wooden bridge crossing over a river. It was beautiful, and I was so glad that Gordon and Jessica (matt's brother and sister-in-law) asked Matt to take their picture on the bridge, because I wanted to just take in how pretty my surroundings were.
After matt took their picture he asked if they would take ours. As were getting in our place for our picture to be taken, Matt says "hold on, I need to get my hat out of my backpack" I looked at him with a confused face, because Matt was already wearing a beanie. I said "Matt you don't need a hat for the picture."
He got down on one knee (oOo im getting goose bumps just writing this) and pulled out a little black box from his back pack.
I was shocked.. I was not expecting this at all..
He said "Jenn will you marry me?" I said "Are you serious?!" hahaha "of course i will!"
